TU launches the "Taif in One Tongue" initiative
date of publication : 2021-06-17Taif University, represented by Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development, and in cooperation with College of Arts Unit of Teaching Arabic for non-Native Speakers, launched the initiative of “Taif in One Tongue” by providing an intensive training course in speaking Arabic for non-native speakers targeting the workers in Taif Municipality.
Dr. Saleh Al-Zahrani, Head of the Unit of Teaching Arabic Language for Non-Native Speakers, stated that the course witnessed a great interaction from the trainees, which reflected their desire to increase their linguistic knowledge, their questions about the Arabic language, and their keenness to correct concepts around it. The course included simple interactive communicative principles represented in daily situations, paving the way for subsequent courses that would give the trainee higher skills.
